Thank you to all the Whisperwood Anglers participating in the 2017
June 1 - June
4 Guest Bass Fishing tournament.
Ryan Giglio's 18" largemouth
bass and Frank Cornine's 15.25 inch smallmouth bass topped the measuring stick to take
home the 20th Whisperwood Bass Tournament championships. Ryan is now a two time Whisperwood
Bass Champion and the first Championship for Frank.
Whisperwood's 20th Guest Bass Fishing tournament had
varied weather conditions with a tough spring bite, however, the 11
registered Whisperwood anglers still
managed some terrific catches and as usual it
took a couple of big bass to win the coveted championships.

Winning largemouth Bass - 18 inches
Ryan Giglio's
(second win)
18 inch bass was the Big
Bass of the tournament and Ryan is the 2017 June Whisperwood Bass
tournament largemouth bass division champion. With this coveted championship
Ryan joins a distinguished list of outstanding Whisperwood Anglers and is eligible for our next Champions Tournament. The Whisperwood
20th Bass Tournament presented many challenges, however, as
usual, our 2017 champions still managed some big
beautiful Maine bass to capture the victory and become part of Whisperwood Bass
Tournament history.
Frank
Cornine recorded his first win in the
Smallmouth bass division with a fiesty 15.25" smallie - an
impressive catch. Frank and his Dad are one of our many outstanding
Father/Son fishing duos at Whisperwood and will continue to contend in any
of our tournaments they participate.
