Tournament Dates:
June 2 - June 4 - 2022
Thank you to all the Whisperwood Anglers participating in the 2022
June 2 - June
4 Guest Bass Fishing tournament.
Steve Voisinet's 7 pound - 22.5"
largemouth
largemouth bass and Brandon's Kohler's 18.75 inch, 3.5 pound smallmouth bass topped the measuring stick to take
home the 30th Whisperwood Bass Tournament championships. This is Steve's first
win and Brandon's a seventh win as a Whisperwood
Bass Champion.
Whisperwood's 30th Guest Bass Fishing tournament had
mixed weather conditions, however with light winds the Whisperwood anglers
delivered with some 20 plus inch bass. Whisperwood's Mike, Bob & Brandon Kohler,
John Ackerman, Steve & Roger Voisinet all have 20 inch plus largemouth bass
while Nick Pollack had a couple of solid 19 inch bass.

Winning largemouth Bass - 22.5 inches
- 7 pounds
Steve Voisinet's
(1st win)
22.5 inch bass was the Big
Bass of the tournament and Brandon Kohler's (7th win) 18.75 inch 3.5 pound
smallmouth bass were the winning catches for the Whisperwood's 30th Guest
Bass fishing Tournament. With his first win,
Steve now joins a distinguished list of outstanding Whisperwood Anglers and is eligible for our next Champions Tournament. The Whisperwood
30th Bass Tournament had beautiful weather and as
usual our anglers delivered catching some big
Maine bass.
There were
big bass caught in the 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 inch category but Steve's 22.5 inch
beauty was biggest of all. The tail to Steve's big bass was clearly
shortened from the spawn and with a normal tail was easily a 23 inch fish -
now that's a big bass! Largemouth
bass winner: Steve Voisinet - 22.5"
Runners up:
Bob Kohler - 21.5"
Smallmouth bass winner:
Steve Trumbolt - 18.75"
Runners up:
Whisperwood Mike
- 17.0"
