3 Guest Bass Fishing tournament.
Steve Trumpbolt's 6 pound - 21"
largemouth
bass and
Ryan Giglio's 16.5 inch smallmouth bass topped the measuring stick to take
home the 22nd Whisperwood Bass Tournament championships. Ryan is now a three time Whisperwood
Bass Champion and the first Championship for Steve.
Whisperwood's 22nd Guest Bass Fishing tournament had
varied weather conditions with a tough spring bite, however, the 12
registered Whisperwood anglers still
managed some terrific catches and as usual it
took a couple of big bass to win the coveted championships.

Winning largemouth Bass - 21 inches

Steve Trumpbolt's
(first win)
21 inch bass was the Big
Bass of the tournament and Steve is the 2018 June Whisperwood Bass
tournament largemouth bass division champion. With this coveted championship
Steve joins a distinguished list of outstanding Whisperwood Anglers and is eligible for our next Champions Tournament. The Whisperwood
22nd Bass Tournament presented many challenges, however, as
usual, our 2018 champions still managed some big
beautiful Maine bass to capture the victory and become part of Whisperwood Bass
Tournament history.
Ryan Giglio recorded his
third Whisperwood Fishing Tournament win with a 16 1/2" Smallmouth bass.
Ryan and his Dad Jim are one of our many outstanding
Father/Son fishing duos at Whisperwood and will continue to contend in any
of our tournaments they participate.
