« on: May 19, 2014, 11:01:13 PM »
left the the house in ct after the movers today for a quick stay at the lodge before we close on the maine house on wed. i was not surprised with the weather it was 72 and sunny in ct by the time we hit 495 RAIN all the way up and 46 outside the cabin tonight! will post a one day report tomorrow night! - i can not think of a time i drove up here for may fishing that it was not raining

tue 5/20
rain-10-15 winds with gusts up to 20 - water temp (COLD) outside temp even colder!!!
smallie weather - caught a ton of fish - sinko's - jerk baits - tubes and at night there was a let down in wind and some drizzle -- i would have never thought this but the top water bite was on big time largemouths and smallies ALL FAT some 18 and 19 inchers and a bunch of keeper size -- floating rapala and poppers    hardwork but someone had to do it

Russ, you are the "rain man" - good luck with your move and let's hope you can leave some of that rain behind in May & June.
